 LOS ANGELES, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Following are the top 10
films at the North American box office for the three-day
weekend beginning on Friday, led again by "Paul Blart: Mall
Cop," according to studio estimates compiled on Sunday by
Reuters.
 1 (1) Paul Blart: Mall Cop .......... $21.5 million
 2 (*) Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. $20.7 million
 3 (2) Gran Torino .... $16.0 million
 4 (5) Hotel for Dogs . $12.4 million
 5(10) Slumdog Millionaire ........... $10.5 million
 6 (3) My Bloody Valentine: 3D ....... $10.0 million
 7 (*) Inkheart ....... $ 7.7 million
 8 (6) Bride Wars ..... $ 7.0 million
 9(11) Curious Case of Benjamin Button $ 6.0 million
10 (4) Notorious .............,....... $ 5.7 million

and "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans," was released by Screen
Gems. Both are units of Sony Corp (6758.T) (SNE.N).
 "Gran Torino" and "Inkheart" were released by Warner Bros,
a unit of Time Warner Inc (TWX.N).
 "My Bloody Valentine: 3D" was released by Lionsgate, a unit
of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp (LGF.N).
 "Notorious" and "Slumdog Millionaire" were released by Fox
Searchlight. "Bride Wars" was released by Twentieth Century
Fox. Both are units of News Corp (NWSA.O).
 "Hotel for Dogs" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
were released by Paramount Pictures, a unit of Viacom Inc
(VIAb.N).
